Watercolour painting of Wild Dog and Pups drinking at sundown

'Sundowners'

Original watercolour of an African wild dog taking a group of pups to drink at sundown. The painting is called "Sundowners" as the sighting occured at about that time of evening on safari when the guides traditionally take their guests off to a quiet spot for a gin and tonic. We decided that watching the dogs drink at the water hole was much more interesting!

This painting was exhibited and SOLD at the NEWA exhibition in 2010, together with 'Dog Days' it won the Daler Rowney Prize at the show.
