'Dog Days'
Original watercolour painting of African Wild Dogs lying in the shade.
"Having spent lots of time watching Wild Dogs and waiting patiently for them to hunt, I thought I should paint the typical view you get of the dogs, lying sleepily in the shade with ears twitching continuosly, and the occasional lifted head when something disturbs them."
This painting was exhibited and SOLD at the NEWA exhibition in 2010, together with 'Sundowners' it won the Daler Rowney Prize at the show.
