'Delta Lioness'

This was a lioness we spent rather a lot of time following around the Kwara concession in Botswana. The guides knew that she had recently given birth and were hoping she'd eventually lead them back to the cubs. We spent the best part of three days
trying to keep track of her. We did eventually find her with the cubs and it was great to be the first guests to see them!.
