I know lions aren't meant to climb trees, but someone seems to have forgotten to tell them! I've seen a disconcerting number of lionesses quite high up in trees, so would always recommend keeping an eye out for what might be
watching you from the nearest tree in the African bush! Granted though they are not anywhere near as confident about tree climbing as leopards... Some comedy moments ensued shortly after we saw this lioness resting on a horizontal branch, her
sister who'd got slightly further up the tree decided to try and come back down resulting in the two lionesses attempting to get past each other whilst balancing on rather narrow branch!
