"Eight Stone Weight Advantage" will be on show at the Society of Womens Artists exhibtion at the Mall Galleries, London, 23rd April to 2nd May 2009.

Katy has been working as a professional artist since 1995, specialising in watercolour paintings of equestrian and wildlife subjects. She became interested in equine art whilst living near Newmarket, the headquarters of British horse racing. She loves painting horses and racing scenes. Having exhibited with the Society of Equestrian Artists for many years Katy is now a Full Member of the SEA.

Katy's painting skills are mainly self taught, she originally trained and worked in architecture and still enjoys painting architectural subjects and village scenes in and around East Anglia. Having now been lucky enough to visit Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana and South Africa on safari, Katy also frequently paints African wildlife. Her particular favourite animal is the African Wild Dog or Lycaon Pictus, a page of the site is dedicated to her images of this sadly endangered predator.
