RECENT PAINTINGS

Painting of Newmarket scene

Watercolour of African Wild Dog and Pups

The newest additions to the website are the paintings shown above "Winter Sunlight Newmarket", a small watercolour of a Newmarket scene including work riders which has been selected for the Society of Womens Artists' Exhibition and "Sundowners", a painting of an African Wild Dog and pups drinking at a water hole.

The wildlife page has been comprehensively updated with new additions including a "Male Kudu" and an acrylic painting of Sable antelope. There's now a dedicated page for Katy's Polo Paintings with polo players and ponies in action and other scenes associated with polo matches. Polo exerts a similar fascination to horse racing, involving speed, colour and action and the beauty of the horse, together with wonderful landscape settings.

Artist's Blog

As a concession to the 21st century I've finally started an equestrian art blog, if you're interested in my artwork please check that regularly, I'll be posting some more recent works there which may sell before making it onto the main site. I'll also be posting information about work in progress, my working methods and the ideas behind some of the paintings..

Site Update

The website is finally getting a bit of an update! I'm gradually seperating out sold and unsold works to make finding things a bit easier to find... and hopefully adding some new works soon. Index to sold equestrian works which already had page on site has moved to Gallery of Sold Equestrian Paintings, please view that if you can't find what you are looking for elsewhere and enquire if something similar is available.
