Katy has been working as a professional artist since 1995, specialising in watercolour paintings of equestrian and wildlife subjects. She became interested in equine art whilst living near Newmarket, the headquarters of British horse racing. She loves painting horses and racing scenes. Having exhibited with the Society of Equestrian Artists for many years Katy is now a Full Member of the SEA. Katy's painting skills are mainly self taught, she originally trained and worked in architecture and still enjoys painting architectural subjects and village scenes in and around East Anglia. NEWSOpen ExhibitionThe Society of Equestrian Artists are holding an Open Exhibition at the Mall Galleries this year, the exhibition is on from 3rd to 8th August 2010, opening times 10am to 5pm, closing at 1pm on final day, visit 2010 Exhibition Page for further details.
