Katy has been working as a professional artist since 1995, specialising in watercolour paintings of equestrian and wildlife subjects. She became interested in equine art whilst living near Newmarket, the headquarters of British horse racing. She loves painting horses and racing scenes, she is now a Full Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists.

Katy's painting skills are mainly self taught, she originally trained and worked in architecture and still enjoys painting architectural subjects and village scenes in and around East Anglia. Wildlife art is a relatively new obsession, the result of some recent trips to Africa on Safari.
