Equestrian & Wildlife Artist – Katy Sodeau

Katy Sodeau is an equestrian and wildlife artist based in Brentwood, Essex in the UK.  Katy has exhibited with the Society of Women Artists, the Society of Wildlife Artists and the Society of Equestrian Artists.

Katy’s favourite equine art subjects are based around horse racing and gallops scenes. She used to live in Newmarket and still visits there regularly to sketch and photograph scenes around the heath and Warren Hill.

The wildlife art subjects that Katy normally works on are based on African scenes viewed whilst on safari. Katy’s favourite animal is the African Wild Dog which she has been very fortunate to see in both South Africa and Botswana.
