Am cheating somewhat as this is new blog and posting some earlier info…
The Society of Equestrian Artists organised a workshop in Yorkshire on 22nd and 23rd May, I was lucky to be able to attend on the Sunday which was one of the hottest days of the year so far!
Pic from the morning shows a remarkably horse shaped image for me working from life ( I normally don’t manage to make decisions early enough to decide where head and legs should be) … Haven’t though managed to incorporate the nice cloud shadows that were sporadically appearing and helping separate foreground and background.
